Last weekend, May 21-22, one of the most important events of both national and international importance of our discipline was held, it is the sixth edition of the International Taekwon-Do Open that takes place in the city Concordia in the province of Entre Ríos-Argentina.
An event where we receive the participation of athletes from the different provinces and localities of our country Corrientes, Buenos Aires, La Plata, Santa Fe, Rosario, Misiones, Posadas, Chaco, Capital Federal, as well as international guests from italy, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The representatives of each school to highlight were: Master Miguel Paccot, Ismael Alegre, Claudio Alba, Alberto Arredondo, Paulo Rojas, Diego Espindola, Liliana Falcon, walter Panozzo, Walter Sosa, Julio Pacheco, Lucas Dadamo, Gabriel Colina (UR), Juan Goncalves (VE) among others
On Saturday at 18:00hr a press conference was held with the representation of each country at the City Convention Center, where the magnitude of the event was indicated for sunday.
The event started on Sunday at 10:00am on a day full of excitement and TaeKwon-Do in one of the best venues called "El Gigante Verde" in the province where from early on the athletes of each province were looking for place in the grandstand to place their flags as well as the International athletes make their arrival
After 12:00 hr. the opening of the event was held where the Regiment Band and the "Honor Guard" of the Orange Jazz Institute. sounded our National Anthem, followed by that we received thanksgivings from different media representatives, sports secretary and secretary of tourism, as well as the organizer Matias Molinari and our Master Fausto Mercado, an event of recognition awards was held both as the organizer and the Guest of Italy Antonio De Savato since both are 11 times world champions in the power break mode and this year they will be entered in the hall of fame of that country, for which they had prepared a great surprise for the opening of the event.
After the thanks we started to see the preparation in the enclosure of bricks, tables, ice, bottles, where we enjoy a show from Argentina and Italy in this mode of Power Break with participation of the present public.
The event ended at 20:00 hrs where the closing of categories was made with team fight where the Argentina team received the official team from Uruguay, where our athletes were once again undefeated in our great event.
